Then every Thursday for the next 4 weeks you will be able to hear the next exciting installment of the Bragging Rights UK series.

We start today with Liverpool vs Manchester.

A brand new 5 Part Bragging Rights spin off series, which pits to battle UK cities in a civil war of confusion and tom foolery! 10 Cities will battle against each other, with the 2 winning teams with the most points going into the Final. The show will be broadcast via LIPA radio in the new year, with episodes being previewed on-line earlier and available after as a podcast!

The episodes will feature:

1. Manchester vs Liverpool
2. London vs Leeds
3. Edinburgh vs Glasgow
4. Brighton vs Cambridge
5. The Final

Each show will last 30 minutes and will feature the following 5 Rounds:

1. General Knowledge - 8 Questions first to buzz gets the chance to answer!
2. Top Trumps - Each city as a list of facts about there city, you have to guess which fact you will have most of! (For example highest gun crime rate!)
3. Guess The Intro - Each team hears 4 pieces of local music, they have to guess the artist and the song to get the points!
4. Round Our Way - A hot debate about which city is the best, the funniest pitch wins the points!
5. Verbal Diarrhoea - The classic Bragging Rights race for the finish!

The show is being recorded during November and December and the first episode will be on-line on January 24th 2007. With a new one each week!

What a year it has been really! An excellent 2nd series of Bragging Rights with over 100 people each month still downloading! (Fantastic work people!) and 2 more series coming to your ears very soon in the new year.

Bragging Rights Series 3
We can’t wait to get started on a series of live shows again (As much fun as recording is!) again we will be back on LIPA radio and Online to the world at the start of February with Ian and Producer Alex again guiding opposing teams through the quiz rounds. Crazy things will surely happen.

The show is now well under way, 4 Shows have been recorded and the Final show is being recorded on the 6th January. The series will go live on January 24th. With the first episode Manchester vs Liverpool! Above is a picture of Karen McGurk and Ray Bradshaw making up the Glasgow team, from the studio recording session.
